Fairview Park police arrest man involved in multiple robberies

FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio (WOIO). Fairview Park police have arrested a man they believe is involved in multiple robberies in the area, according to a press release.

The report said Jerryn Lamar Hannah was arrested on Wednesday morning after police substantiated a possible reason for the aggravated robbery.

Officials say the search began after a man entered Lorain Road Burger King on March 1 and forced an employee to hand him the contents of the restaurant’s safe.

According to police, preliminary investigation showed that the robber could be involved in at least three such robberies in the city of Cleveland in recent times.

Fairview Park detectives worked with members of the Cleveland Police Department, the Rocky River Police Department, the Westshore Bureau of Narcotics Task Force and the U.S. Secret Service to gather evidence that led to Hanna’s arrest, the report said.

The Fairview Park Police Department arrested Hanna Wednesday morning with the help of a SWAT team from the Westshore Bureau of Law Enforcement, the Cleveland Police Department, the Rocky River Police Department, the Westshore Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement Task Force and the US Secret Service.
