Tuesday night crash in Arlington results with four people injured including two minors, one person arrested on three counts of intoxication assault

Arlington, TX – Tuesday night crash in Arlington resulted with four people injured and transferred to hospital for treatment, local authorities confirmed.

According to the incident report, two vehicles were involved in the crash that took place on Tuesday around 8:20 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-20 near the Hwy 360 interchange.

People who witnessed the incident told the responding officer that a Mazda MX5 was driving erratically and struck a Toyota Tundra pickup, causing the pickup to go off the roadway, strike and roll over a guardrail, then land on its side.

The police later confirmed that a family of four were driving in the Toyota and all four of them suffered injuries. Two adults, 2-year-old girl, and a 4-year-old girl were immediately transferred to hospital for treatment.

The 4-year-old girl luckily suffered only minor injuries and she is in stable condition and expected to fully recover soon.

The other Toyota passengers suffered serious injuries and they seem to be in critical condition. As per the latest reports, the 2-year-old girl is in very critical condition as her injuries are considered to be life-threatening.

The 25-year-old Tyler Hampton was the driver of the Mazda. The police confirmed that he only sustained minor injuries and his condition is stable.

After speaking with him and administering a series of roadside sobriety tests, officers arrested him on three counts of intoxication assault with serious bodily injury.

Local authorities confirmed that he is being held at the Arlington City Jail.
