Winter weather warning issued for several counties on Saturday early evening

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather warning for several counties in northeast Ohio from Saturday to Sunday due to a possible snow forecast.

The recommendation is valid for Lake County from 2:00 pm Saturday to 2:00 pm Sunday. It operates in Cuyahoga, Ashtabula and Geoga counties from 5:00 pm Saturday to 2:00 pm Sunday.

There is a general accumulation of two to four inches of snow along and near the shores of Lake Erie and three to six inches in Lake County uplands. Plan on slippery road conditions and poor visibility.

Wind gusts up to 45 m/s are possible. The NWS encourages you to be careful while traveling.
