UPDATE – Man shoots home with shotgun while fleeing police in Chillicothe

CHILLICOTE – A man identified by several witnesses fired a shotgun at a familiar home Thursday night in Chillicothe.
According to testimony from witnesses from the Chillicothe Police Department, the man, who was described as “unhinged” in that testimony, arrived at the Madison Avenue home in a dark SUV and shot into the house. Then he left the stage.
When the police arrived, they found damage to the house consistent with shotgun blasts, and a live round was found in the driveway that had not fired but had been ejected. Police said there were two shotgun blasts in the house that penetrated the inside of the house.
Several witnesses who knew the man said his name was Robert. The police have not yet arrested the man, but they are looking into the situation. No one was hurt in the shooting
