Three people hospitalized after crash in Clermont County, military says

CINCINNATI (WXIX) — Three people were rushed to hospital after an accident in Claremont County early Thursday morning, according to the Ohio State Patrol.

Soldiers say they received a call about a two-vehicle collision on US 52 and Nine Mile Road around 4:40 am.

The pickup truck was driving east, lost control, crashed into the median and crashed into the sedan.

Two people in a pickup truck were taken to Mercy Anderson while the driver of the sedan was taken to UCLA Hospital, OSP said.

All three have serious but not life-threatening injuries, the military said.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

US 52 at Eight Mile Road was closed in both directions. All lanes are fully open.
