CINCINNATI (WXIX). The 10-month-old girl returned to her grandparents, who are her guardians, two days after her biological mother and father took her out of the state.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department of Criminal Investigation and the Hamilton County Attorney’s Office arranged for the safe return of the baby, Valerie Lala Williams, Friday night.

She was examined by the Coleraine 25 Township Fire Department physician and handed over to her grandparents around 10:35 pm.

Nothing is known about the allegations of the mother, Monica George, against whom the sheriff’s office had previously issued a warrant for criminal prosecution for unlawful interference with custody.

No new court documents have been filed against George in Hamilton County since the warrant was issued on Wednesday and George does not appear on prison records.
