Kim Petras thinks the world is “going backwards” in its attitude towards sexual expression. The 30-year-old singer teamed up with her fellow pop star for “Unholy” and after backlash on Sam SmithIn the latest music video, “I’m Not Here to Make Friends,” she admitted that she “hates” how “biased” people can be.

She said of Sam’s latest music video, in which the “Stay With Me” hitmaker was seen wearing a corset and nipple tassels, “Pop should be like this. It has always been so. Sam is one of the nicest people I have ever met in person and is one of the most talented people I have ever met.”

She continued, “I just love self-expression and I think we’re backtracking a bit, you know, just not allowing everyone to express their sexuality. I think it’s really beautiful and very strong.” so people just judge and I hate it. I love Sam to pieces.”

Meanwhile, the “Heart to Break” singer won the “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” award at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 5 for her collaboration with Sam. She admitted that it was “crazy” when she got approved at all.
