‘Staring’ Brian Kochberger seen multiple times on University of Idaho campus: students

Three University of Idaho students said they saw quadruple murder suspect Brian Kochberger lingering on campus in the weeks prior to the off-campus brutal murders, and said the creepy loner “was the kind of starer”.

One sophomore told people magazine that she saw Kochberger drinking water in the Student Union food court while he was sitting alone.

“He was the type to stare. He wouldn’t look away if you caught his eye. Like he wanted you to notice that he was looking at you,” a student named Chelsea told the magazine.

“He didn’t smile, didn’t nod, didn’t say anything. I was just watching,” she said. “I told my friend not to be suspicious and look at him because eye contact made me uncomfortable.”

Chelsea added: “It was so weird that we ended up leaving and eating outside because we wanted to get away from him.”

Another student said she saw Kochberger so often that she thought the Washington State University graduate student was studying at the University of Idaho.

“This is not a big school; it’s like a small town,” an unidentified student told People. “So you start seeing the same faces over and over again. They become familiar, like you know you’ve seen them in class or on campus.”

Here is the latest report on the brutal murders of four college friends:

The student described Kochberger as “just very quiet and very intent looking,” adding that “he made me feel uncomfortable.”

A third student also told the news outlet that they recognized Kochberger after he was arrested and charged with the Nov. 13 murders of Madison Mogen, 21, Kaylie Gonsalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, in a rented house. . home in Moscow, Idaho.

Koberger is charged with four counts of murder and one count of burglary.

A law enforcement source recently told People that they believe Kochberger spent some time on the campus of the University of Idaho.

“Anyway [Kohberger] guilty of killing these kids, something is wrong if a grown male who is not a student can just wander around the campus,” Mar Sampson, whose daughter attended last semester, told the magazine.

“Everyone should be really aware of their surroundings and feel free to speak up if someone makes them uncomfortable,” she added.

The alleged sightings of the three students were not the first time Kochberger made women feel uncomfortable.

The owner of the Seven Sirens Brewing Company in Pennsylvania said Kochberger harassed women at his bar, where he usually sat alone “watching and watching” other patrons until he started drinking.

Kochberger’s behavior caused enough concern among employees to make a record of him in the company’s system.

“Employees put in there: “Hey, this guy makes creepy comments, watch him.” He’ll drink a couple of beers and then just settle in,” said 34-year-old owner Jordan Cerulnek.
