Several victims in a series of accidents on the I-75

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A series of crashes on I-75 caused some problems late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.

It all started with an accident near East Dixie Drive just after 11 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, when three cars collided, blocking two lanes of northbound traffic.

West Carrollton air traffic control said people were injured in the crash, but air traffic control was unable to confirm the number and extent of their injuries.

Approximately 40 minutes after this crash, another two-vehicle crash occurred about a mile south.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the driver was unable to stop due to slowdowns from the original crash, colliding with another vehicle.

OSHP said one person was injured in the accident but is expected to be fine.

While crews were handling accidents in West Carrollton, a separate accident occurred just north of I-75 on Edwin S. Moses Boulevard. Montgomery County Regional Dispatch said the accident occurred just after midnight on Wednesday, March 22, and involved three vehicles.

The control room said at least one person was injured.

Since then, all lanes have been reopened after all three accidents.
