Saturday Six: Alec Baldwin indicted, customs officers seize eggs at the border and more

The weekend is finally here.

During another busy week of news, paleontologists made a rare find of 256 dinosaur egg fossils in India, the tech industry continued to cut jobs, and alcohol-related liver disease was found to be on the rise among young people. In addition, the polar bear that killed the mother and her son in Alaska also harassed the school staff and almost got inside the building.

In the meantime, the world said goodbye to folk rock singer-songwriter David Crosby, who died at age 81, and sister Andre, the world’s oldest known person, who died at age 118.

But that is not all.

Below is our weekly Saturday Sixth, a roundup of half a dozen pieces of news – in no particular order – from the heartfelt to the weird and tragic, and everything in between.
