Prices for Bengals-Bills, the most expensive home game of 2022, skyrocketed

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A single ticket to the much-anticipated Bengals-Bills matchup on Monday Night Football at Paycor Stadium is getting more expensive in the secondary market.

The Cincinnati Bengals (11-4) have won their last seven games, while the Bills (12-3) have won their last six.

The game has major playoff implications as the Bengals struggle to secure the number one seed in the AFC. To do this, they must defeat the Bills, who are in first place, and must hope that the runners-up Kansas City Chiefs (12-3) will lose one of their last two games against the Broncos and Raiders.

Getting the top seed would give the Bengals a goodbye in the first round, as well as home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The prices for participation in the game reflect its importance.

“This is a meeting between two of the top three teams in the AFC with playoff implications. This is a huge game. Demand is high,” said Sean O’Connor of Ticketjungle.com, a Cincinnati-based marketplace that claims to offer lower fees than national competitors.

Prices in these national aftermarkets:

• SeatGeek: The cheapest ticket costs $200; The most expensive one is $1900.
• Stubhub: The lowest ticket price is $220; The maximum ticket price is $1,800.
• Ticket Master: A single ticket is available for just $170.

On Ticketmaster, the expensive end of the spectrum typically runs up to $7,500. But there is an outsider.

One seat in row 8 of Section 136 is currently up for sale for $99,000 (see for yourself or check out the screenshot below!)

Prices are comparable to last month’s Bengals-Chiefs AFC Championship rematch.

But according to TickPick, another secondary ticket market, the Bengals-Bills are the most expensive Bengals home game of the season.

Game prices are currently 502 percent higher than they were at the start of the season.

Prices jumped significantly by 81% after the Bengals beat the Chiefs. The average purchase price, according to TickPick, is $272.
