Police are stepping up their search for a Massachusetts woman who was last seen nearly a week ago.

Police are asking the public to help find a missing Brookfield, Massachusetts woman, CBS Boston reports.

Brittany Tee, 35, was last seen leaving her boyfriend’s house on Tuesday evening, authorities said. She reportedly went missing on Friday.

On Sunday, local and state police searched T’s boyfriend’s neighborhood for clues. Police dogs were trying to sniff out the smell in the nearby forest, and the drone was combing the area from above.

A group of Tee’s friends gathered at the police station to join the search, but investigators feared they might inadvertently trample on important evidence.

“I know there is a desire to go and help in the search right now, but we ask you not to do it now,” Brookfield Police Chief Michael Blanchard said.

But Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Earley Jr. asked the people of Brookfield for other help. “Anyone with any kind of media, any cameras at home, check this out. Check your cameras, see if you have anything at all,” he said.

The police were to resume the search on Monday morning.

Brittany is 5’6″, weighs 120 pounds and was last seen wearing a black winter coat, jeans and work boots.

Family and friends said that she had never been away for such a long time without contacting loved ones.

Friends told CBS that Boston Tee’s car was found at her boyfriend’s house. The last time her phone was checked was near the Brookfield State Police Barracks.
