Plano man and woman found dead in their home; the suspect believed to be responsible for the double homicide arrested

Plano, TX – A man and a woman were found shot to death in their home in Plano on Wednesday night, police say.

According to the incident report, officers responded at a home in the 5800 block of Mulvane Drive in the evening hours on Wednesday after some called 911 a reported possible homicide in their city.

When officers arrived at the scene, they attempted to make a contact with the people living in the house, but no one responded.

After multiple unsuccessful attempts, they decided to get into the home where they found the dead bodies with multiple gunshot wounds.

The identities of the victims were not revealed by the authorities, they only confirmed that the victims were in their late 20s or early 30s.

Officers who responded at the scene say that the entrance door was unlocked at the time.

Another person was found inside the house and luckily it was unharmed.

Shortly after, police developed a person of interested who immediately became the main suspect in the shooting incident.

The police located and arrested the suspect in the city of Murphy, which is about 10 miles to the east.

Police didn’t immediately revelead the identity of the suspect, they only said that the suspect was related to the victims.

The case remains under investigation. More details are expected soon.
