Oppo’s latest flagship phone joins exclusive 1-inch camera club
Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has joined Xiaomi and Vivo in the 1-inch sensor club with the launch of the Find X6 Pro in its home country. Other highlights include a 510ppi OLED display with adaptive refresh, a flagship Snapdragon processor, and a large, fast-charging battery.
The Find X6 Pro triple camera array features the same circular bump as the Honor Magic5 Pro and OnePlus 11 5G’s black hole design, and boasts Hasselblad color optimization features and image-specific MariSilicon X neural processing.
All camera modules have a maximum resolution of 50 megapixels, while the wide-angle main unit is focused on a 1-inch Sony IMX989 image sensor, and has F1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. The periscope telephoto lens matches the 1/1.56-inch sensor and has 3x optical zoom, 6x hybrid zoom, F2.6 aperture, and support for optical image stabilization. The F2.2 ultra wide-angle camera is also equipped with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and supports macro photography. Users can look forward to 4K video at 30fps with Dolby Vision HDR or 60fps without it, or 720p up to 480fps for slow motion.

On the front, visuals are displayed on a 6.82-inch 3168 x 1440 AMOLED display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, has adaptive refresh at a maximum rate of 120Hz, and offers instant 240Hz touch sampling. It also offers HyperBoost frame stabilization for smooth mobile gaming, DCI-P3 color gamut support, and peak brightness up to 2500 nits. A hole in the center of the top is home to a 32MP 1080p selfie camera.
The Find X6 Pro runs Oppo’s Android-based ColorOS 13.1, features an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and is available with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. In addition to 5G mobile connectivity, there is Bluetooth 5.3 (with support for aptX HD and LDAC codecs) and Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be).

Oppo
The smartphone’s 5,000 mAh battery supports 100-watt wall-mounted fast charging and 50-watt wireless charging, and Oppo says a 10-minute charge will charge the battery up to 50% capacity. And finally, protection against water and dust according to the IP68 standard.
For now, the Find X6 Pro is only available in China, starting at 5,999 yuan (which works out to around $870, although an official US release is unlikely to take place). A slightly less powerful (and cheaper) model called the Find X6 is also set to launch in China.
