Missing Massachusetts mother’s husband threatened to kill her in 2014, police report says.

A Massachusetts man accused of misleading authorities during an investigation into his wife’s disappearance allegedly threatened to kill her and her friends eight years ago, according to a police report received Thursday.

A 2014 Washington Metropolitan Police Department report obtained by NBC Washington did not name Brian Walsh, but an agency spokesperson confirmed that Walsh was the person accused of threatening Anya Walsh over the phone.

A spokesman said no charges were brought against Walsh because the victim refused to cooperate.

The incident happened before they got married, according to NBC Boston.

The case was closed and no further details about the alleged crime were available. Walsh’s attorney, Tracey Miner, did not immediately respond to a request for comment Thursday.

Brian Walsh, 47, told authorities on January 4 that he last saw his 39-year-old wife, a mother of three and the regional general manager of a real estate company, on New Year’s Day, according to the affidavit that led to his arrest. Sunday.

He said she left their home in Cohasset on a business trip to Washington between 6 and 7 am, according to the sworn statement.

Three days later, Ana Walsh’s employer asked the Cohasset police to check on her. She was last seen a few days earlier, her car was in Washington, and there were no missing persons reports, the caller said, according to a police call log obtained by local news site Cohasset Anchor.
