MFS selects Jerry Savage as Lead Retirement Strategist

Jerry Savage joined MFS Investment Management as lead retirement strategist, the investment manager said in a press release on Wednesday.

She is responsible for leading the firm’s thought leadership with specific input on trends, best practices, and regulatory and legislative developments.

“We look forward to Jerry’s additional perspective as we help clients understand the implications of the recently passed SECURE 2.0,” Jonathan Barry, managing director of Investment Solutions Group at MFS Investment Management, said in a press release.

Miss Savage succeeds Jessica Sclafani, who left the firm in 2022 to pursue other opportunities, the spokeswoman said. She is currently a Defined Contribution Strategist at T. Rowe Price.

Ms. Savage comes from Rocaton, where she was VP of Defined Contribution Research for the Multi-Asset Solutions group at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Rocaton was acquired by Goldman Sachs in 2019 and retained the Rocaton name.

MFS manages $547.9 billion in assets on behalf of individual and institutional investors around the world.
