Kirstie Alley’s former Florida waterfront mansion finds a buyer

Ellie, who died of colon cancer last year at age 71, bought a waterfront home from Lisa Marie Presley in 2008 for only $1.8 million.

The estate had been on the market for less than two weeks when the offer was made. Now it is awaiting sale.

Clearwater is the hometown of the Church of Scientology, and Ellie was a member of the church. Presley, a former Scientologist, died unexpectedly last month at the age of 54.

The 7,815-square-foot retreat sits next door to a state-of-the-art mansion associated with John Travolta.
