Julia Fox’s father and brother arrested as cops find ghost weapons and drug-making materials in apartment: sources

Julia Fox’s father and brother were arrested Wednesday after police raided their Manhattan apartment and found ghost weapons and evidence of drug manufacture, law enforcement sources said.

Police arrived at Christopher and Thomas Fox’s Upper East Side home around 6 a.m. as part of a larger ghost gun investigation, sources told The Post.

Investigators found ghost weapons — weapons with no traceable serial numbers that are often sold in parts — as well as 3D printed parts such as bottom receivers and 3D printers.

They also found unidentified pills, a pill press, fentanyl, chloroform, heroin, propane and formaldehyde, the sources said.

Thousands and thousands of high-quality wine bottles have been found among the contraband, sources say.

Both relatives of the Uncut Gems star were taken into custody at their 84th Street home following the raid. According to sources, a criminal case has been opened against them.

None of the men have a criminal record.

The source said the couple had an “extraordinary amount of possessions” for people previously out of the police’s radar.

The actress and model has spoken in the past of growing up in the city with her single father and brother, whom she said she didn’t see much of.

“He’s like a mad scientist hermit” – Julia spoke about her brother in an interview. “He builds 3D printers for fun.”

Relatives also described him to The Post as a “mad scientist” who enjoys doing experiments, but said he was a soft-spoken guy who “wouldn’t hurt a fly” and tends to be more withdrawn.

According to the source, investigators were informed of suspicious online purchases that were delivered to the address.

Neighbors told The Post they saw men in hazmat suits coming in and out of the apartment building “all day”.

The last of the officers left the building with a box of papers and wires about 12 hours after the initial raid.

Julia was out of New York at the time of the raid and is believed to be unaware of her family’s alleged crimes, sources said.

She declined to comment on the arrests when The Post reached her.
