JP Morgan Asset Management selects Michael Konrath as next chief pension strategist

Michael Konrath was appointed chief pension strategist at JP Morgan Asset Management.

It replaces Katherine Roy, who left last year to pursue other opportunities, spokeswoman Sveta Vacija said in an email. Mr. Konrath, who takes office on 1 February, will report to Daniel Oldroydportfolio manager and head of target dates strategy for multi-asset solutions.

Mr. Konrath will lead JPMAM’s Retirement Research Group and lead the Manager’s Retirement Research Program. Previously, he was head of education savings. Ms. Vatsia said that JPMAM will announce a replacement for this role in due course.

As of December 31, assets under management of JP Morgan Asset Management amounted to $3.7 trillion.
