The Patascala manufacturing facility will be located approximately 20 miles east of Columbus in an existing industrial building. The production complex should be launched by the end of this year. The construction phase is scheduled to start in April, opening about 850 jobs, including 150 union jobs.

“As a US-based company and a leading developer and operator of solar projects in the US, we recognize the importance of having a robust domestic supply chain to meet the rapidly growing demand for affordable solar energy,” said Art Fletcher, executive vice president of Global Sourcing. in Invennergy.

Invenergy, which has developed more than 6 GW of solar projects worldwide, has a portfolio of 775 MW solar assets in Ohio.
