The parents of the two, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have long been madly in love with each other; so much so that they rocked the entire British Empire from its roots with one Netflix documentary. Well, by giving up his royal duties for a happy marriage, the Duke has already set the bar high. But could you imagine that between them there is a stain of jealousy and rudeness?
If anything, Netflix’s candid docu-series did two things right: exposed the brutal truth about the royal family and relived the still-young love of Prince Harry and Meghan. And while the weighty allegations continue to anger the monarchy, another thing that has come to the fore is the difficult period they have gone through. A royal insider reported that there was a time when Meghan Markle couldn’t help but be jealous of her husband’s former love affairs.
Meghan Markle once envied Prince Harry’s former beau
In 2023, the two seem to be going strong, and the former American actress seems to have set some solid boundaries for the couple. However, that was reportedly not the case in 2018-19. According to a royal insider, Prince Harry’s two former mistresses, Cressida Bonas and Chelsea Davy, attended the wedding at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Insiders, according to Radar, said Harry and Markle’s relationship really took a hit a year later. “freeze your usually loving dynamic” for a short period of time before the couple got over it. While Davy was Prince Harry’s first love and met him back in 2004, he dated Bonas from 2011 to 2014 after breaking up with the first. Davy also revealed back in 2016 that she and Duke “Always be good friends.” However, that is all in the past now and Prince Harry’s efforts to protect his family may have been fruitful.
