Kate made a joke on ITV.This morningon Wednesday, December 28, while discussing her pool scene where she wears an orange two-piece. She talked about abstaining from the booze other actors drink to keep her figure: to get this scene filmed. So I thought, “I’ll take just this cucumber.”

Kate added about participating in the film, which also starred Daniel Craig as Detective Benoit Blanc, ‘When we found out they were doing the second (‘Get the knives‘), I was going to kick down (director) Rian Johnson’s door. I said, “I want to come in.” We were indeed locked up together due to COVID. It was right on the peak of the Delta (COVID variant) so we couldn’t go anywhere. We rented out a bar, investigated murders, and then we had parties. That’s how we had fun.”



Kate, who played Birdie Jay in the Knives Out sequel, previously told NBC:Todayon the cast enjoying wild parties while filming due to the lockdown: “We had so much fun. It was at the height of Delta and we were in Belgrade, Serbia, so the producer said, “You won’t leave this hotel.” Which in itself is like a nightmare, but they rented a bar upstairs, and we just, you know, went there as a circus, and we just started drinking. And when the circus starts drinking, things get weird, and we had a lot of fun.”
