George Santos’ ‘consulting company’ shares mall address with postal center

Long Island Rep. George Santos said his shady consulting firm managed $80 million worth of assets from a Florida address where a mail processing center is located.

The congressman’s Devolder Organization LLC filed a lawsuit. report with Sunshine State on January 11, stating that his business address is the same as a Fast Mail N More store in Melbourne Mall.

The window of a mail-handling store and the supposed home of Santos’ grim business empire was surrounded by a dollar tree, a nail salon, and a Chinese restaurant. The astonishing exposure of Dom’s freshman was the first. reports NY1 Wednesday.

The Devolder organization was reportedly dissolved administratively last September, but re-established the day after the December 19 New York Times bombshell that Santos had fabricated nearly all of his past.

Santos, 34, is under investigation for alleged violations of campaign finance law over allegations that he lent more than $700,000 to his 2022 campaign, despite the often-ruined politician claiming an annual salary back in 2020 only $55,000.

The Republican retracted his claims in an amended statement to the Federal Election Commission Tuesday, saying the loan to his war fund was not from his personal funds, but did not disclose the origin of the money.

Santos previously claimed to have borrowed money for his campaign, which he paid himself through Dewolder’s organization. The financial disclosure claims that he received a $750,000 salary from the firm, as well as $1 million to $5 million in dividends.

In a complaint to the FEC earlier this month, the Legal Campaign Center watchdog said Santos did not report any client payments in excess of $5,000 and argued that Devolder making such windfall profits was “highly unbelievable.”

The panel also alleged that Santos’ claims of seven-figure earnings from his “alleged” consulting business were “vague, uncorroborated and untrustworthy in light of his many previous lies” and accused the business of being a front for illegal straw. donors.

Santos’ source of money – and his apparent campaign spending fabrication – is being investigated by federal authorities and the House Ethics Committee. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said on Tuesday that his Republican counterpart would be kicked out of Washington if the commission found he had broken the law.

Santos, who reportedly has close ties to the cousin of a sanctioned Russian oligarch, admitted to The Post on Dec. 26 that he lied about working for high-profile financial firms and attending Baruch College and New York University. He also lied about being Jewish, and his revisionist history extended to horrific false claims that his mother was a victim of the 9/11 attacks and his grandparents fled the Holocaust.

The scammer also regularly used a false name, falsely claimed to be a real estate mogul and volleyball champion, and was wanted for felony fraud in Brazil, where evidence shows he acted as a drag queen.

Santos resisted calls to resign from both sides of the aisle, but received lukewarm support from McCarthy, who refused to call on the GOP representative to resign.

His office did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
