DWS names Richard Marshall head of infrastructure research

Richard Marshall was named head of infrastructure research for DWS Group, the asset manager said in a Tuesday news release.

He replaces Gianluca Minella. Details on his new role were not immediately available.

Mr. Marshall is based in London and reports to Hamish Mackenzie, head of infrastructure.

He will work closely with DWS’s infrastructure private equity and debt teams and the DWS Research Institute.

DWS expects the asset class to continue expanding, and as it evolves “we continue to see potential for solid risk-adjusted long-term returns,” Mr. Mackenzie said in the release.

DWS Group had €833 billion ($810.6 billion) of assets under management as of September 30, according to the release.

Mr. Marshall was head of infrastructure and power research at Fitch Solutions. He was replaced by Anna-Marie Baisden, according to a Fitch spokesman.
