Cleveland man accused of killing girlfriend and burying body charged in Cuyahoga County

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) — A 43-year-old man accused of killing his 23-year-old girlfriend and burying her body in Pennsylvania was charged Wednesday in Cuyahoga County.

Anthony Kennedy of Cleveland is also being held at the Cuyahoga County Jail, county officials said.

According to court records, Kennedy will be charged with 13 felony offenses:

• Two cases of aggravated murder
• Two counts of murder
• Two counts of assault
• One case of aggravated robbery
• Two cases of robbery
• One point grand theft
• One case of theft; aggravated theft
• One case of evidence falsification
• One account of crimes against a human corpse

Kennedy surrendered to Pennsylvania authorities on November 30.

Adrianna Taylor, 23, was officially declared missing by Cleveland police on November 13.

Taylor’s body was found in the backyard of a home on the 800 block of Hill Avenue in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania on November 24, officials said.

19 News has learned that Taylor’s body was found inside a large bag that was placed in a large construction bag.

The bags were found under wet and dry concrete.

Wilkinsburg police were informed of the crime by a neighbor who has a Ring doorbell camera that captured “suspicious activity in front of the house,” officials said.

Investigators also confirmed that Taylor died from a gunshot wound to the head, and the arrest warrant suggests the murder took place in Cleveland.

Cleveland police said Kennedy and Taylor lived together in the 3200 block of West 98th Street before she disappeared.
