African Wildlife Safari Park Opens Saturday for Season 55
PORT CLINTON, OH (WTVG) – African Wildlife Safari Park opens this weekend in its 55th season.
From March 25, the park will be open daily from 10:00 to 17:00, the last car enters at 16:00.
Zebras, bison, llamas, alpacas, moose, exotic animals, emus and other animals can be seen at the popular Drive-Thru Safari Park. Warm-weather animals such as giraffes and antelopes will not be visible unless the air temperature exceeds 60 degrees.
Featuring gibbons, lemurs, kangaroos, warthogs, parrots, camel rides, educational animal shows and animal feeding experiences, the Walk-Thru Safari will open in mid-May, according to the park.
To celebrate its opening day, the park is offering general admission tickets priced at $16.95, saving each person $13 to use anytime during the 2023 season.
