A teenager fell about 30 feet to his death while walking the Moab Trail in Utah.

According to a press release from the Moab City Police Department, the Utah teenager fell about 30 feet while walking through Canyon Creek Friday afternoon.

The 17-year-old was walking along the Moab-Rim Trail in eastern Utah with a group of her friends when she slipped and fell “off a sheer cliff,” police said.
