A man shot dead at an NC Popeyes gas station has died, police said. Suggested Reward

Police said a man died Friday night after being gunned down in the driveway of a Popeyes restaurant in North Carolina.

Officers found 32-year-old Winston-Salem resident Rashaad Pitts dead in a restaurant parking lot just after 9 p.m., according to a Crime Stoppers of Winston-Salem Forsyth County press release on Facebook on Saturday.

The police arrived in Popeyes at 500 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive after receiving a message about the shooting.

“Preliminary investigation indicates that Rashaad Pitts was in the car when he was shot and died from his wound,” the report said.
